British workers say more confidence would lead to greater career success

As we enter the new year, distance learning specialist Home Learning College of UK adults asked to discuss the factors that could contribute to ensuring a better job in 2012. Topping the list, with 31 percent of the votes, is more confident, followed by further opportunities in the region. Nearly a fifth said that only need a stroke of luck, while the same number mentioned qualifications and experience that the key to future success.
Only 18 percent of respondents said they had a good job, while 36 percent of men and 29 percent of women said that they are unhappy in their current role. Other clear differences were revealed between the sexes, with 35 percent of women say that the trust would be more useful against only 26 percent of men. Not surprisingly, family obligations are an impediment to career success for women than men.

At the regional level, the unfortunate career peaks in the West Midlands, 38 per cent. The happiest workers can be found in Wales, where only 23 percent complain their current work, followed by East Midlands with 28 per cent.
