Richie Meade chosen as head coach of U.S. men in 2014? Senior National Team

Lacrosse head coach Richie Meade appointed American of American men in 2014? Senior National. Meade will lead the U.S. team to defend his title at the International Federation of the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships (IDF), hosted by the ass and the United States, held in Denver, Colorado, 10-19 July 2014. He became the head coach in the history of the 12 th men in the U.S.? Schedule D for the senior team.

A veteran of 35 years of training at the college level, Meade has recently worked as the head coach for the men of the United States Naval Academy? 1994-2011 team, which has led to a would-be (0589) 142-97 record in 17 years. In his 21 year career as head coach, including four years at the University of Baltimore, has compiled a 162-120 Meade (0585) records. While Meade? Assignment S as head coach at Navy, his team made five Patriot League regular season and tournament titles, appeared in seven NCAA tournaments and has won 39 All-America selections. In 2004, the Marines advanced to the national championship game and Meade was honored with the Morris Touchstone Memorial Award for national coach of the year. E ‘was also twice named coach of the Patriots League this year (2004, 2007).

Meade began his coaching career as an assistant at Duke University in 1977. After spending two years at Duke University, Meade made a stop at the University of North Carolina (assistant, 1979-1980), the University of Baltimore (head coach 1980-1983), Marine (assistant, 1984-1988), North Carolina (assistant, 1989-1990) and the United States Military Academy (assistant, 1990-1994) before joining the Navy as a head coach in 1994.

Meade is scheduled to make his first appearance as head coach of the men in the United States? s senior team in the U. S. National Lacrosse Convention in Philadelphia, PA. He will present a session on leadership Saturday, January 14th at 13:45, will also attend and observe the team in action at Champion Challenge, a U. S. Lacrosse event, where Team USA will have semi-finals of the NCAA University of Denver Sunday, January 29. Select an assistant coach and support staff will begin in May 2012.
